This is the original photo.

It took me an hour and a half to draw/paint.
I tried to give an impression of a decrepit structure with hand-split shingles. The paper
is standard printer paper with a 5 x 7 inch 'window.' Paint is acrylic.

Next is a scan of the work.

The third picture is a flash photograph. This really changes the tone of the whole composition
and amplifies it.

Such is changed from a neutral piece into a very very very dark piece.

The image thus generated is from Christian mythology. The bell (Hell's Bell) toles for you
( christian believers ). The spirits came to take
your soul to Hell where you will be lovingly tortured as directed by the loving and forgiving Christian God. You are now enroute to your loving eternal fate.
